Day 24: Fine Dining

Day 24: Some days you just need a steak... Male or Female.  Tonight was just one of those nights.  I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.

Day 23: Sacrifice

Day 23:  I've decided that its time to sell our T.V.  Its officially the summer and although its a lot of work hours ahead, there's also time to play.  So I'm selling my "Black-Friday 42'' inch Baby" in return for some surfboards...

Day 22: Catching Up...No More Student Teaching

Day 22: I haven't been recording as well as I should have.  The biggest news lately is that Lacee is done with student teaching.  I'm so happy and relieved.

Day 21: Becoming the Runner

Day 21: Becoming the Runner. . . Lacee and I have been doing really good at exercising over the past few weeks and months.  I've been reinvigorated with new shoes and a new ipod nano.  Lace and I went on our first couple run in a while.  She doesn't like running with me because I make her run the whole time, but this time was different.  She ran so well and didn't have to stop at a good pace in the mountains.  We ran like runners, and we ate like runners.

PS- If lacee was a bacterial foot fungus, I'd be her toenail hideout 

Day 20: Jalapeño Poppers

Day 20: Jalapeño Poppers. Not too much explanation needed here.  You get some jalapeños, you clean the seeds out, stuff them with cream cheese and cheddar cheese, then wrap them in bacon, stick a toothpick through them, and grill or bake until the bacon is done.  They're amazing...

ps- if lacee was a diet drink, I'd be aspartame.

Day 19: Banana Boat/ Beach Day

Day 18: Whatever She Wants

Day 18: Whatever She Wants.  TI said it best, "My chick can have what she want."  Probably not the best choice of lyrics, but I've always like that part.  This project was an attempt to capture TI's vision minus the paper stacks.

PS- If Lacee was Gymnast I'd be her Pommel Horse.

Day 16: Fishing

Day 16: My friends and I are relentless spear fishers. . . Although we usually come home fish-less.  This day however, I brought back the coveted eel.  I felt very primal and fulfilled bringing home my woman food from the ocean.

PS- If lacee was a fastfood restaurant, I'd be her greasy teenage worker 

Day 15: Floor Scrub

Day 15: Floor Scrub... Every now and then The kitchen floor gets pretty bad.  Lacee likes how I clean it, so that's what lead to this activity.  

PS- if lacee was a canvas, I'd be her paintbrush

Day 14: Spinach Alfredo Pizza

Day 14: Spinach Alfredo Pizza.  Neither Lacee or I have been eating too good, so we decided that it was time to start eating better.  Cooking is big in this family, and eating is more important.  This just seemed like a good idea

PS- If lacee was a teenage idol, I'd be her creepy, single, middle aged, fanatic...

Day 13: Reunion

Day 13: I'm back in Hawaii! My first day back was awesome.  Lacee and i accompanied the Familia de Stephan to Turtle Bay and had some good beach time there.
